Thanks! It's definitely something to think about - iPhone is with me 24/7, and if all of my current apps are boring me, to have a handy book to continue reading is a great alternative. And even if you don't want to read an entire book on the iPhone, there are almost 4,000 volumes of poetry available through kindle/amazon downloads. So it's a real thought. Thanks again!!

Stu,
The app is pretty simple. Open it up, it gives you a list of your purchased books. Click on them to read them, setting to change font size. Change pages by flicking left or right. I think the Kindle app is an excellent training wheels for the Kindle. The only investment is the purchase of a single Kindle book.
If you do buy a Kindle-less Kindle book, please do comment on your experience...

Gah. I spelled separately wrong in my previous comment. That cannot go without an errata sheet. We apologize for the fault in the above comment. Those responsible have been sacked.

Would you blog, seperately a review of the kindle iPhone app - 'cause I don't want to buy a new device right now, especially one that would only get a once or twice a week work-out. But buying an app and then having a spare book on my iPhone, well, that's got my attention.
