This is undoubtedly the worst SNL skit I’ve ever seen. So why do I watch it over and over again? There’s just something awesome about this. See what you think (sorry about the ad, not sure how to get rid of that)…

Have kids? Take a look at this site, http://www.tikatok.com. Just as Apple made it easy to publish professional looking photo books, Takatok is Barnes and Noble’s effort to take your youngster’s story and/or drawings and produce an actual published work. The idea is not new. Lulu has been doing this for years. But the specific focus on children’s publishing by a mainstream bookseller is new and worth a look…

You’ve no doubt seen the national debt clock and know that our national debt is now above 12 trillion dollars ($12,000,000,000,000).
This is a fascinating take on that debt clock, breaking down our debt and revenue into live sub-clocks. Take a look…

In 1962, a man named Tommy Douglas gave a speech that he called Mouseland. His goal was to raise the consciousness of the people of Saskatchewan, Canada, but he really was talking about politicians everywhere. Yesterday, Apress released the eBook version of More iPhone 3 Development, offering a 50% discount to get the wheels of commerce turning. And turn they did! Once word got out, the response was apparently more than they expected (yes, that’s me and Jeff making whoo-hoo!! noises in the background) and their servers crashed. And crashed again. Not sure what magic they did but, thankfully, they were able to get things sorted out after a bit and get people their books.
So we got that going for us.

I am a big strat fan. For the uninitiated, that’s the Fender Stratocaster. The video below shows Steve Kimock, little known guitarist who can play with the best of them, rocking a strat with passion and precision. Yum…
