This is pretty cool. Our book won a Mobie Award for best dev book. Sweet!

Jeff blogs about it here.
Some pretty good competition:
- Learn Objective-C on the Mac – Mark Dalrymple & Scott Knaster
- Beginning iPhone Development – Dave Mark & Jeff Lamarche
- iPhone Development for Dummies – Neal Goldstein
- iPhone Developer Cookbook – Erica Sadun
- iPhone in Action – Christopher Allen & Shannon Appelcline
Awesome!

Congratulations to you and Jeff and it’s well-deserved. I’m a bit surprised by one of the nominations and would have expected to see Bill Dudney’s book there instead but it’s definitely good to see a couple of Apress books in the mix.
I think Bill Dudney’s book has not shipped yet. I’m looking forward to reading it…

Simon – I was surprised about that myself. I thought at first that maybe it wasn’t eligible because the print version is not on the shelves yet, but if that were true, the Dummies book wouldn’t have been eligible either. Seems like a definite oversight – I’ve got nothing but good things to say about Bill and Marcel and their book should have been a nominee.
